NOC (embedded)

The /noc section embeds Beak NOC into the Observability shell so network operators can inspect devices, NetFlow, topology and bandwidth alongside the application and infrastructure data. The embedded experience mirrors the standalone NOC product.

Sections

The embedded NOC exposes the same surfaces as the standalone product:

Monitoring

Network analysis

Network infrastructure

Analytics and reports

Full Documentation

The full Beak NOC documentation lives under /docs/beak-noc/ — every embedded surface has a matching reference page there.

Note: For deep-dive guidance on any NOC workflow, follow the section links above into the Beak NOC docs.

Best Practices

  • Use the embedded NOC for cross-domain triage — a network event surfaced here often correlates with an application incident in Observability's Incidents page.
  • Switch to the standalone NOC product for heavy network-administration tasks (firewall config, device onboarding) where the larger viewport helps.
  • Permissions are honoured uniformly — a user without NOC permissions sees an empty surface in the embed too.
