Security & Compliance

Chief of Staff operates entirely within your Microsoft 365 tenant boundary. No task data, email content, or conversation context is transmitted outside your organization's environment.

Security Controls​

Enterprise Tenant Security​

Only authorized Microsoft 365 tenants can access the system. All authentication flows through Azure AD / Entra ID. Unauthorized access is automatically rejected.

Audit Trail​

Every task action — creation, update, reassignment, closure — is timestamped and attributed to the acting user's Microsoft 365 identity.

Zero Data Permanent Deletion​

Task records are logically cancelled, not physically deleted. This preserves full history for compliance, legal holds, and internal audits. Cancelled tasks are removed from active views but preserved in the system.

Compliance-Safe Records​

All task operations are retained for audit purposes. The complete lifecycle of every task is available for review, including who performed each action and when.

Data Boundary​

  • Tenant Isolation — All data remains within your Microsoft 365 tenant boundary and Beak Desk instance
  • No External Transmission — No task data, email content, or conversation context is sent to external services
  • Identity-Based Access — All operations are authenticated through Azure AD / Entra ID
