Observability Integrations
Beak Observability provides the monitoring backbone for the entire platform. Alerts, metrics, traces, and logs flow to other products to enable automated response, contextual ticketing, and data-driven operations.
Observability to Beak Desk
Alert-to-Ticket Routing
Observability alerts automatically create tickets in Beak Desk:
| Alert Severity | Ticket Priority | Routing |
|---|---|---|
| Critical | P1 | On-call team + escalation |
| Warning | P2 | Assigned team queue |
| Info | P3 | General triage queue |
Ticket Enrichment
Tickets created from alerts include:
- Alert details — Metric name, threshold, current value
- Affected asset — Linked asset from ITAM with full context
- Related alerts — ML-grouped correlated alerts
- Root cause suggestion — AI-generated root cause analysis
- Runbook link — Auto-linked remediation steps if available
Deduplication
When multiple alerts fire for the same root cause, Observability uses ML alert grouping to create a single ticket with all correlated alerts attached, reducing ticket noise by up to 80%.
Observability to AI Studio & Agents
Agent Triggers
Observability events can trigger AI agents for automated response:
- Auto-remediation agents — Restart services, scale resources, clear caches
- Investigation agents — Collect diagnostic data, run health checks, trace issues
- Notification agents — Send context-rich alerts via Teams, Slack, or PagerDuty
- Escalation agents — Automatically escalate unresolved alerts based on SLA timers
AI Observability
All AI agent operations are traced by Observability:
- End-to-end agent execution traces
- LLM call latency and token usage
- Agent success/failure rates
- Evaluation scores over time
Observability to Beak Security
Security-Relevant Metrics
Observability shares infrastructure metrics relevant to security:
- Unusual network traffic patterns flagged as potential threats
- System resource anomalies that may indicate compromise
- Log analysis detecting suspicious access patterns
- Application error spikes that may indicate exploitation attempts
Vulnerability Scan Monitoring
Observability monitors the health of security scanning operations:
- Scan completion rates and durations
- Scanner agent health and connectivity
- Patch deployment success rates
Observability to Beak Governance
Cost Monitoring
Observability metrics feed into Governance cost analysis:
- Resource utilization data for right-sizing recommendations
- Cloud spend correlation with infrastructure metrics
- AI model usage and token consumption tracking
SLA Tracking
Observability data powers SLA compliance reporting in Governance:
- Uptime and availability metrics
- Response time and latency tracking
- Incident frequency and MTTR
Observability to BEAK ITAM
Asset Health Monitoring
Observability enriches ITAM asset records with:
- Real-time health status (healthy, degraded, down)
- Performance metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network)
- Last-seen timestamp for connectivity tracking
- Alert history per asset
Configuration
Integration Settings
- Navigate to Beak Observability > Settings > Integrations
- Configure:
- Beak Desk — Alert-to-ticket rules, severity mapping, deduplication settings
- AI Studio — Agent trigger conditions, escalation rules
- Beak Security — Security metric sharing, scan monitoring
- Beak Governance — Cost metric feeds, SLA tracking
- BEAK ITAM — Asset health sync frequency
Custom Webhooks
Configure custom webhook destinations for alerts:
- Navigate to Beak Observability > Settings > Webhooks
- Add endpoint URL, authentication, and payload template
- Assign alert rules that trigger the webhook
